Not technically a gig, but is it? I don’t really know if it fits in this category, but there’ll be a full orchestra playing while the film is showing so I’m going to say that yes – it is a gig. A classical gig. Played to everyone’s favourite chick flick.
Lewis Capaldi @ Albert Hall

Singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi is returning to Manchester this week with a big show at the beautiful Albert Hall. Since leaving college, Lewis has embarked on a rather rollercoaster journey, with some massive stats on his debut self-release ‘Bruises’ and more recently getting long-listed for the BBC Sound of 2018.
Killing Joke @ Manchester Academy

This lot have been going for around 40 years now and not even a mild case of angina, or serious bouts of Werther’s Original sucking is going to get in the way of them rocking the roof off Manchester Academy this week.
Bugzy Malone @ Mayfield
Thursday 8th November
Legendary Grime artist Bugzy Malone is coming home to Manchester with his huge ‘B.INSPIRED’ UK tour and two nights at Manchester’s Mayfield Depot this week. Should be a massive one!
Sigrid @ Albert Hall

Pretty much appearing out of nowhere last year like a Scandinavian apparition, Sigrid has smashed it in 2018, with a string of hits and a long list of ticked off gigs around the world. Well, she’s in town this week and there’s still the odd ticket flying around. Be quick though!
Slayer @ Manchester Arena
Friday 9th November
Another bit of heavy rock and roll for you now as Slayer enter the doors of Manchester Arena to play in front of a massive crowd of people wearing black t-shirts and doing this – 🤘 – with their hands. They’ve got about 30 years of tunes to blast out, so prepare for a long one.
The Real Thing @ The Lowry
Saturday 10th November
Singers of probably one of the greatest songs known to man, The Real Thing are the Liverpudlian band responsible for ‘You to Me Are Everything’ – pretty much the most perfect song ever and my typical go-to at karaoke establishments. They’re at The Lowry this weekend baby!
