Bad Man Tings love a good old Christmas knees up (don’t we know it…) and this year’s no different!
With it being the season for giving BMT have teamed up with us here at manchestersfinest.com to bring you a cracker of a line up with all profits being donated to the ABC Trust.
ABC Trust is dedicated to helping the street children and most vulnerable young people of Brazil. By raising funding and awareness, they support the work of local, community-led organisations that give these children the hope, education and inspiration that they need to transform their own lives.
On the night you will not only experience some titans of Jungle but you will also witness an eagerly anticipated DJ competition between 4 of the Northwest’s top selectors. We have invited Gloxxy, Meecha, Bane and Lost Property to lock horns so we can see who has got the minerals. To enter the comp each DJ has had to gamble their slot at their next residency so the winner will not only take home £100 cash and a 6 month residency at BMT but also steal the other DJs gigs, clever we know. On top of all that the winner will get the opportunity to take a trip down to London and guest on DJ Ron’s Friday night show on the prestigious Kool FM www.koollondon.com. Judges for the comp include Rich Reason, DJ Ron and a surprise guest.
As well as a ram packed Jungle room we are happy to welcome some of Manchester’s biggest hip hop names to get involved in a jam style session. Artists in the backroom will be rotation all night with live MCs doing their thing in an exhibition of true Manchester talent. Anybody wishing to join in with MCing get in touch as although it’s a jam IT IS NOT OPEN MIC.
Also, we will be hosting a tombola which will feature prizes donated by our sponsors, DJs on the night and previous BMT guests including Remarc, Bizzy B, Ray Keith and Mampi Swift. Make sure you bring plenty of extra cash for donations. Prizes include signed records, tape packs, one-off T shirts, art work, CDs, tickets for events such as WHP and BMT, selection of 12” records, mix tapes and loads more.
