Growing up in Manchester, Jazz singer Annette Gregory was influenced when she heard Ella Fitzgerald, and from that moment on, she knew what she wanted to do with her life.

It’s a story that we’ve all heard before, but this one is much more believable owing to the stunning voice of Ella Fitzgerald and her impact on music and jazz since the 30’s.

Annette and her band are touring the country with ‘Ella – Celebrating 100 Years’ – a reflection on Ella’s early career, moving through the various songbook albums that helped to to become ‘The First Lady of Song’.

As a part of the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival, you can watch this exciting production at the Z-Arts Centre in Hulme on Saturday 8th July. Tickets are only £8 and can be purchased here.
