Kurt Vile has just announced a new tour with his backing band The Violators! The tour kicks off at Gruenspan in Hamburg on October 12 before finishing at Vicar Street in Dublin on November 14. They’ll be playing live at The Albert Hall on Saturday 10th November. Kurt Vile’s Manchester gig is sold out already so keep an look out for any resale.

With 17 shows in the UK this will be the band’s longest and largest UK tour to-date, including a visit to Manchester Academy this month. The tour looks set to prove the all-girl band as a force to be reckoned with and should be tremendous fun for all!

What to say about Leon Bridges still cant believe how small the venue they’ve chose to play in is. The lucky among you may have been to see leon bridges play in the deaf institute, since then he has gone on to take over america and play for none other than Barack Obama. The new album is slightly modernised than his previous take on the golden era, but the man oozes soul in everything he does. His Manchester show has sold out, so keep a look out for resale.

Back with their first new music in three years, Hookworms are ready to unleash the ferocious energy of new album Microshift and showcase its beautiful song-craft to all. The Yorkshire-based outfit’s hypnotic combination of vocals and electronics show the shift from their hallmark psych-rock records into new and exciting musical territories. Where to start. One of our favourite live bands the duo from Tunbridge Wells, we still haven’t worked out how a 2 piece make so much noise. Bringing punk into the modern age, they put on one of the best live shows you can view. The dance floor will be one big mosh and the boys leave nothing on the stage. DEADMAU5 | 17th Nov | Store Street
Deadmau5 returned in July of this year with the Mau5ville Vol 1 EP, his first all-new material since 2016. Lead track Monophobia sees the rodent-headed one reunited with former Pendulum/ Knife Party frontman Rob Swire, and it’s mix of sing-a-long vocals and progressive chord sequences is already picking up classic status amongst devotees. Other tracks on Mau5ville showed that Deadmau5’s sense of quirky innovation is a strong in 2018 as it was a decade ago, as he works through twinkling floatation tank ambience, wonky lo-fi techno, and glistening big room dubstep – suggesting that his live appearance at WHP 2018 will be a winning combination of the anthemic and unexpected. Mumford & Sons | 21st Nov | Arena
Mumford & Sons release ‘Delta’ on the 16th November through Gentlemen of the Road/Island Records. Introduced by the frenetic, persistent rhythms of first single Guiding Light, it’s a wildly experimental record that effortlessly marries the intimacy and jubilance of the band’s first two records, with the scope and stadium-sized dynamics of 2015’s Wilder Mind. Jon Hopkins | 22nd Nov | Albert Hall
Always in demand, Jon Hopkins has been incredibly busy since the release of 2013′s Immunity. Even before the album’s release, he was known as an expert producer and collaborator as well as a remixer for artists as diverse as David Lynch, Moderat, Disclosure, Four Tet, Wild Beasts and Purity Ring. London-based duo Ten Fé have a Madchester meets Springsteen sound according to Guardian review of their debut album. London-based Ten Fé, a five-piece consisting of songwriting duo Ben Moorhouse and Leo Duncan, with school mates Rob on bass, Johnny on keys and Alex on drums, hail from London and Birmingham. The band are known for a captivatingly eclectic set of songs, fusing a mix of Americana, Madchester baggy and soulful vocals with an intricate contemporary electronic underscore.
