With 2019 seeing Joel Rothwell appearing everywhere from Sky News to Talk Radio and Talk Sport, it seems fitting that next year begins with his largest headline show yet at Manchester’s Academy 3.
Joel is currently mid-way through a tour of schools in the North West, not only performing his tracks but speaking to children about his own experiences of being bullied and offering advice as to how others can learn from the ways he found to cope and resolve the situation.
With a combined audience of over 4,500 people on this tour alone seeing Joel perform, you can bet that tickets for his Academy 3 show will sell out fast!
With a stylishly crafted formula of honest storytelling accompanying his guitar driven electro-pop sound, the latest track from his forthcoming EP is ‘Know Them’ – produced by Scott Dasco (Tom Walker), it perfectly showcases Joel as one of the rising stars of UK pop.
Extending his skills yet further, Joel has proved his credentials as an actor, both in his latest film project SKINNED, which also featured his songs ‘Satellite’, and the as yet unreleased ‘Animal’.
Joel is now based at a studio in the vibrant Spinningfields area of Manchester, while also having spent time writing and recording at Tileyard Music in London alongside chart musicians such as Sigala, Mark Ronson and Ella Eyre.
Through a blend of passion, talent and determination, Joel firmly believes he has what it takes to stand out in such a competitive industry and match the ambition of his dreams.
