Originally contributing vocals to R&B group B2K, Aiko later set out on her solo project in 2003. After leaving her label Sony to complete her education, she went back to music in 2011 releasing ‘Sailing Soul(s).’
In 2015 she was nominated for three Grammy Awards including Best R&B Song for “The Worst” and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Sail Out. Aiko has collaborated with some big names including Big Sean, Chris Brown, Key Wayne and is even looking to support Lana Del Ray on her 2018 tour.
