Music icon Liam Gallagher has announced a huge homecoming show at Manchester’s Heaton Park next June, with tickets on sale this Friday 29th November at 10am.

The Burnage born rock star will return home and embark on the 600-hectare municipal park on Friday 12th June, with special guests and the rest of the lineup still to be revealed. The announcement of the homecoming event follows a massively successful 11-date sold out UK tour around the release of his second solo studio album Why Me? Why Not, which shot to number 1 in the UK and achieved Gold-certification.

The concert will take place the day before the annual Parklife festival, with a stacked evening of live music offered to fans ahead of the main festival. Gallagher headlined the popular Manchester festival back in 2018, with details of its 2020 edition to be announced in the new year.

Why Me? Why Not followed on from Gallagher’s platinum-certified debut solo album As You Were, which entered the UK charts at number one, outselling the entire top 10 combined.

A massive homecoming gig from one of the most adored and recognisable figures in music, Liam Gallagher’s Heaton Park show is simply a must-not-miss for all fans.
