Manchester Legends 'Black Grape' Announce 25th Anniversary Tour

Manchester legends Black Grape have announced a six-date UK tour for October 2020. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Black Grape’s debut album ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight…. Yeah’.

Originally released on 7th August 1995 it not only went to number one but also went platinum; a three-CD deluxe edition was released in November 2016.

The album, recorded at Rockfield Studios with producers Danny Saber, Stephen Lironi, Shaun Ryder and Gary Kurfirst (executive) produced top ten hit singles ‘Reverend Black Grape’ followed by ‘In the Name of the Father’ with ‘Kelly’s Heroes’ reaching the top twenty.

The tour kicks off in Cardiff on 1st October with founder members Shaun Ryder and Kermit Leveridge on vocals.
