I’ll be honest, this isn’t a night I knew too much about but the lineup is a real eye catcher. With Luke Vibert on headline duties it promises to be a naughty tear up. Always on any good promoters radar and with releases on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex Records as well as Ninja Tune and Planet Mu, Luke Vibert’s style range from chilled out hip hop to mash up jungle, incorporating techno, acid house and disco along the way. It’s guaranteed to be top class music throughout, with additional acts Funkineven and Romare set to join the party it looks like the place to be on Saturday. This is all going down at 1 Primrose Street in Ancoats over 2 floors and is definitely worth checking out.

Not technically a club night but whatever. If getting sweaty and jumping around to hardcore rap is your thing then Sound Control have got a treat for you this Friday. Known mostly for their hit singles Cold As Ice and hip hop classic Ante Up the Mash Out Posse (MOP) are true legends of the genre and this rare visit to Manchester looks set to be a special one. With support from the Manchester based Mouse Outfit what better way to start your weekend? Doors 8-11 so plenty of time to party after.
