In light of the tragic news of Derrick ‘Sleezy D’ Harris’ recent passing, some of the best Acid House DJ’s are getting together and heading to Gorilla to raise money for an amazing cause.
Most famous for releasing the 1984 acid house tune ‘I’ve Lost Control’ alongside his close friend Marshall Jefferson, Sleezy D sadly and unexpectedly passed away from kidney failure this June.
In light of this news, his family have been forced to start a GoFundMe campaign to cover his hospital bills and funeral costs, and to help even further, Marshall Jefferson has taken to the road to help raise the money.
The Sleezy D fundraiser will be heading to Gorilla this Friday 22nd November for a night of acid house, deep house and tech house – all orchestrated by Jefferson himself and Danny Rampling, Jon Dasilva and Steve Mac.
All profits from the night go to Derrick ‘Sleezy D’ Harris’ family.
