As far as Brasserie Abode is concerned, weekends are for music- live music if you want to get specific.

Therefore, they have made Abode the place to be for live music and some of the best Mancunian talent out there from Friday-Sunday.

They take booking guests pretty seriously, and the next night of music is no different, as they have booked The Tom Seals Band who will be bringing along some special guests on Friday 21st September.

Fresh from his summer tour which included sell-out shows with Jools Holland, Roger Waters & Bestival, Tom is returning to Manchester with his full band to play hits from Billy Joel, Ray Charles & Jamie Cullum.

One of the UK’s leading boogie-woogie pianists, Tom has received high praise and support from Jools Holland, Tom Jones, Jamie Cullum, Jennifer Hudson & Hugh Lawrie.

His first special guest is Kohera- a Manchester-based jazz quartet playing a range of music from swing, jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop.

Next up is the highly acclaimed soul and jazz singer, Georgia Van Etten. Recently featured online with Smooth FM, even the megastars are taking notice, with her song ‘Sugar’ being covered by the one and only Jamie Cullum.

The event has free entry, but if I was you I would book yourself a table so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Luckily, Brasserie Abode offers some fantastic dining packages that start at just £15 per person.

You can even enjoy a free bottle of bubbles for a table of four or more- so there really isn’t any excuse for you not to be there!
