It seems more than fitting that in celebration of this, the Northern Quarter art & music hub, based in one of the cities many industrial buildings, 2022NQ will be hosting ‘Verdampft’; a special party to mark the exhibition opening.

As Dave Haslam explains on the Facebook event page ”‘Verdampft’ (“melts into air”) takes its name from a word in the German phrase “Alles Ständische und Stehende verdampft” used by Karl Marx and Frederich Engels in the Communist Manifesto (1848).” The full translation of which is the title of Deller’s show.

Following on from their sell-out show at the Ritz that evening, Everything Everything will be coming to play an exclusive DJ set alongside headliner DJs Dave Haslam (Hacienda/Yellow) and Will Tramp (‘City Life’ DJ of the Year 2012).
