Some of us, mainly me, haven’t really let these things go. I like nothing more than reading fantastical tales and getting completely lost in another world.
But what if I told you we could take it one step further? What if we could get trapped in fairy-tale? Well, I have some fantastic news because Breakout Manchester has just announced the arrival of their brand new escape room which is influenced by Harry Potter and all your favourite fairy-tales – Enchanted.
Imagine this…
You are in the witches and wizard section of the local the library. You notice a book you’ve not seen before. Drawn to it by some uncontrollable force, you start to leaf through the book.
The next thing you know you wake up in an enchanted forest. After walking in said forest for what seems like hours, and encountering many strange creatures along the way, you find yourselves at a house made of gingerbread and sweets.
Should you enter the house or stay away? Will your sweet tooth get the better of you? Can you escape the trap laid out for you in 60 minutes before the witch returns to eat you? Will you get to live happily ever after?
Beware! This challenge is a little Grimm and may not suit the faint of heart. It has a difficulty rating of 3 stars so is a great one for younger participants too.
