45 leading artists and designer makers have been specially selected to take part in this high quality, selling event. There will be a wide range of hand-made original gifts for Christmas to suit all budgets, from unique jewellery and fashion accessories to beautiful things for the home. Armed with a complimentary glass of mulled wine on arrival, visitors can enjoy browsing and buying direct from the makers and contemplate their gift (and personal wish) list in the pop up vintage tea room selling artisan savouries and cakes.

The Little Northern Contemporary Craft Fair comes from the team behind the award winning Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair. The organisers, Angela Mann and Ann-Marie Franey launched Great Northern Events, a not-for-profit company, 7 years ago with the aim of raising the profile of contemporary craft and giving designer-makers in the region, a platform to showcase their work.

“The Little Northern is a great opportunity to buy original and thoughtful Christmas presents for friends and family. You can buy direct from the person who made the work or commission something unique and bespoke and it’s nice to know that you’re supporting talented designer-makers, from the region, in the process,” says co-organiser Ann-Marie Franey.
