Manchester’s highest restaurant celebrated its first birthday last week, and in those first 12 months the venue has very much become part of the fabric of the city – with its stunning restaurant as well as its open-air terrace and the best views in the city.

It has indeed been a remarkable year for 20 Stories accounting for 114,265 diners in the restaurant with customers ordering a huge 22,117 steaks from the restaurant.

On top of this there have been 12,631 ‘20 Stories’ signature cocktails enjoyed on its famous terrace, as well as 97,582 pints of Peroni beer, 97,203 gin & tonics plus 21,609 glasses of its renowned Manchester Tart Punch Cocktail.

In total 20 Stories has also sold 161,503 cocktails in its first year plus 35,157 bottles of Champagne and Sparkling Wine.

Becky Wilkes, Sales and Marketing Manager of 20 Stories said: “It’s been an incredible first year for 20 Stories – the restaurant has exceeded all expectations in terms of the number of diners who have passed through our doors and the response of the city to our unrivalled roof top bar terrace.

“With a new head chef in place and changes to the menu afoot, we expect the next 12 months to be equally exciting. 20 Stories has cemented its place in the heart of this fantastic city and we’re delighted to welcome some of our guests and friends to help celebrate this fact with us on our first birthday this week.”
