Tristian Welch worked under the guidance of Michel Roux Junior during his time at Le Gavroche, where he also won the Award of Excellence from the Academy of Culinary Arts. The award recognises exceptional talent and ambition in young chefs.
Refining his repertoire of classical French cooking for three years at Le Gavroche, Welch moved to Paris to continue his culinary training at triple Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant L’Arpege.

Beginning with a cocktail on arrival and scallops with coastline herbs to start. For the main course, guests will enjoy sole meunière and slow-roasted duck with pressed sauce, mashed potato and thyme. To finish, a Cambridge burnt cream dessert.
