XS Malarkey Online
Tuesday 31st March
One of the city’s longest and most-respected comedy nights have gone all virtual during this shithouse lockdown and are doing a LIVE comedy show on Twitch this Tuesday night. It’ll be orchestrated by the capable hands of compere Toby Hadoke and I don’t know who is going to be on but it should be bloody good. Really bloody good.

Dungeons & Flagons Online Games Night
Wednesday 1st April
Every week down at The Bread Shed there’s a super-special night of Dungeons & Dragons and board games called… Dungeons & Flagons. Brilliant name – brilliant night. Well, with everyone stuck in their houses they’ve decided to go all futuristic (instead of medieval) and create an online games night every Wednesday at their usual time. Hit up their Facebook event page, get in touch with them regarding what you want to play and they’ll sort you out on the night.

Bongo’s Bingo from the Bungalow
Thursday 2nd & Saturday 4th April
You’ve probably already tuned in before but why not do it again? It’s not as if you’re bloody going anywhere. The craziest night imaginable is now available in your own living room as Jonny Bongo goes ape shit with a bottle of Bucky from his very own Bungalow. Expect prizes, games and some serious laughs. It’s FREE but make sure you donate something to keep em going (and for the chazzas).

Queeriosity Unplugged! – A Twitch Live Cabaret Show!
Saturday 4th April
Described as a “4 hour Drag Festival in your own home”, that’s more than enough information to get me signed up for this. That’s it. That’s all you need to know. Want more? Okay well there’s a HUGE list of drag acts from all over the world getting involved, from Manchester’s very own Donna Trump, to Nina West from Ohio, Nomai from France and even Holly Stars all the way from sunny Crewe. The list is massive which means that the show is going to be nothing short of spectacular.

Ancoats Sunset Sessions
Saturday 4th April
This is number 2 in what looks to be A LOT of Isolation Party Stations to come from Ancoats DJ Coast2Coast. It’s a quick 15 minute session of good vibes, looking to help you get up, jumping around and having a bloody good time. Perfect for a bit of a warm up for Queeriosity Unplugged above I reckon.

Online “LIVE” Naked Yoga Classes
Sunday 5th April
They had me at “naked”. In actual fact, these online naked yoga classes take place every day, twice a day so you don’t have to get involved this Sunday – you can do it any time really. For £12 you get a live class with Doria who will lead you on a relaxing (and probably most of the time challenging) yoga session in the buff. The internet truly is a wonderful thing.

Paint with Pete Obsolete
Monday 6th April @ 2pm
Another week in our gaffs and another brilliant LIVE painting and drawing session with Manchester art legend Pete Obsolete. He’ll be getting his spray paints out and drawing whatever you tell him to – as well as cracking on with some of his world-famous rhyming doodles which anyone who has been to one of his excellent OverDrawn events at The Bay Horse Tavern will know all about. A nice relaxing start to the week this – get involved.
