Family Rave Lock In with Disco Mums & Il Bosco B2B
Wednesday 8th April
Another way in which you can keep your kids entertained is to pop this Family Rave on, flick the living room lights on and off really fast and let the little buggers tire themselves out dancing like they need the potty for a couple of hours. If they don’t konk out and fall asleep for a few hours straight after – you need to stop feeding them all of those E numbers.

LEGOLAND Build At Home Session with a Master Builder
Thursday 9th April
Every day I thank both my inherent hatred for children and rather weak sperm for the fact that I don’t have children during this lockdown period. Having to entertain one (or more) energetic, ignorant gargoyles for 24 hours each day without being able to take them to Carpet World to go crazy in the ball pool – I’d go mad. In fact, I’d probably have done a Mick Dundee already and gone Walkabout. Anyway, if you are in desperate need of entertaining little Oscar and Penelope at home – tune into this livestream by the gang at LEGOLAND in Manchester – they’ll be doing a live Build At Home Session with a real Master Builder.

Easter Weekend
Friday 10th – Monday 13th April
This will quite possibly the strangest Easter break of your lifetime – with everyone stuck indoors, watching The Great Escape on telly and us all being really rather miserable. But, let’s not allow the lockdown to sour this celebration of Jesus coming back to life like an ass-kicking, boulder-moving, light-shining zombie – we can all still have a great time. The weather looks sorta okay – so have a BBQ in the back yard, or better yet, grab some gin, a few hunks of cheese and take it easy while getting hammered. The best advice I can give you there.

Tour Giant’s Causeway
Saturday 11th April (or any day)
The National Trust have started doing a series of virtual tours and this is the one that caught my eyes first – Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. I’ve actually never been but have always wanted to – which makes this all the more special. The only thing that’s missing is a visit to Belfast – quite possibly one of the best cities in the world. Ah well – I’ll put it on the list for when the lockdown is over.
