Look who’s baaaaack! The Monster Invasion has returned and you’ll find 7 of these guys invading rooftops across the city centre including Piccadilly and the Arndale. You might need some wellies and an umbrella BUT this week you can win a shopping weekend in Manchester just by sharing your snaps of the MCR Monsters to your Instagram or Twitter by tagging @HalloweenMCR & #MCRmonsters – so surely that makes it worthwhile? Find the map and trail via the link below.

Thursday Night Live @ Frog and Bucket Comedy Club
Thursday 29th October
Just because Tier 3 is here doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy a bit of Frog and Bucket action. Now serving food with every show – this is the best value comedy night in Manchester. Thursday Night Live consists of 4 comedians from the national and international comedy circuit and is perfect way to get your weekend going. Grab your support bubble and head down to the completely safe and Covid-secure Frog and Bucket Comedy Club for a seriously funny night and some tasty grub.
2 Hours of ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-PIZZA @ Tariff & Dale
Friday 30th October Between 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Sit back and enjoy continuous rounds of piping-hot, deliciously crisp sourdough pizzas straight out of their wood-fired oven this Friday over at NQ favourite, Tariff & Dale. There’s nothing better than ignoring all your emails on a Friday afternoon and just spending a few hours eating your bodyweight in pizza, in my opinion. Their ‘Pizza Giro’ event is chef’s choice (so you don’t even have to stress deciding which flavour to opt for) and includes a soft drink (£11) a house beer, wine or cider (£13), or a cocktail (£15). Oh go on then…
Howl’oween @ Hatch
Saturday 31st October
Following their new COVID-safe format, this Halloween special at Manchester’s favourite food, drink and retail destination is essentially a fancy dress competition for your DOG – spooky! Simply get your pooch dressed up in their finest Halloween clobber and bring them along with you for your Hatch night out where they could be crowned as the doggy best dressed. Halloween dressing up is also encouraged for doggy owners and anyone visiting Hatch on Saturday 31st too! See more below…
Sunday Roast @ Don Giovanni
Sunday 1st November
Now what would good would weekly to-do be without a Sunday Roast in there? The Sunday Roast at Don Gio is my absolute FAVE at the moment, mainly because it’s served with giant Yorkshire puddings and unlimited gravy. This week they’ve just introduced their Vegan option which has been met with some raving reviews. I’m heading over on Sunday to see for myself – so I guess I’ll see you all there! Oh and make sure you leave enough room for pud, because you’re in for a treat just looking at the desserts menu.
