Yes Lah will bring Pan-Asian food and drink, retail workshops and supper clubs all under one roof.
Two of Manchester’s most established street food eateries, Cooking with Mamaz and Woks Cluckin have joined forces to create a brand-new Pan-Asian fusion restaurant in the heart of Didsbury.
In order to help launch their passion project, they’ve set up a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to help them launch their new business venture.
There are various perks available for those who donate, ranging from tickets to Yes Lah’s Satay Celup Party, which is an immersive dining experience that emulates traditional Chinese Hot Pot dining to a noodle workshop with Pippy Eats.
Satay Celup is a Malaysian dish where an assortment of raw and semi-cooked seafood, meat and vegetables are dunked into a boiling pot of satay gravy to create an immersive and exciting dining experience.
If you like hot pot, this event is for you, and you’ll also get refreshments and desserts on the evening, too!
The workshop with Pippy Eats will be an intimate, hands-on workshop that teaches you about the different types of noodle making, starting from scratch and the science behind all of the traditional techniques.
After working up your appetite, you’ll be cooking and eating a bowl of delicious noodles that you can take home to enjoy.
Pippy will provide you with all the materials you’ll need including aprons and refreshments, and you’ll learn everything to recreate the recipes in the comfort of your own home with true confidence. You also get a menu card to take home, so you’ll never forget how to create the infamous delicacies.
It’s also BYOB, so why would you want to miss this?!
The kickstarter launches at 6pm tonight, and if you’re able to donate, you’d be contributing towards the launch of Yes Lah.
Taking to Instagram, Zos and Yen behind the project said: “We are looking forward to meeting you all soon and having you all at our new permanent home and base.
“It’s been a long time coming and we appreciate your support for each of our businesses for many years. It’s exciting times ahead where we make our dreams come true and bring everything we love under one roof.”
