The Coral are coming to Manchester and they’re looking for a support band!

Coming to Manchester Gorilla in April for an evening of music, beer and comedy.

The Coral, famous for classic alternative anthems such as  ‘Dreaming Of You,’ ‘In The Morning’ and ‘Pass It On’ are coming to Manchester for a spectacular event at Gorilla.

Teaming up with Goose Island to make their own collaborative beer which will be exclusively available on the night. The Dreaming Of You IPA (6.2%) is punchy with undertones of malt.

The evening, Goose Island Presents Manchester is the first in a series of live music shows set to happen throughout 2020 championing iconic musicians, emerging acts and comedians with a host of exciting collaborative beers.

Goose Island has previously worked with some of the UKs most celebrated artists including Blossoms, Tom Grennan, Shame, The Vaccines, Everything Everything and Sean Lock.

Proceeds from ticket sales are going to music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins. The organisation using music to enrich the lives of people with life-limiting illnesses, disabilities and feelings of isolation.

The proceeds will be shared with Autism Together, a charity which provides a range of living options day services and community support to people from all over the UK.

As part of the ‘Goose Island Presents’ event series, emerging talent will be promoted and local artists have the chance to be the support act through the competition which can be entered here.

There will also be Manchester’s very own Mick Ferry performing his unique stand-p routine on the night. Ferry has regularly appeared on Tv favourites such as The Comedy Store, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and John Bishop’s Only Joking. He is nominated for the ‘Best Compere’ in the Chortle Awards 2020.
