As part of the continuing collaboration with Portobello Road Gin, one which saw The Bay Horse Tavern launch their own gin in June, Crazy Pedro’s now have their very own blend and it’s a beauty!
Due to the fact that Pedro’s is quite clearly a MEZCAL bar (what with the million bottles adorning the shelves), the gin has been created as a homage to the smoky spirit – one that should appeal to more palates.
As a result, the Pedro’s team and Portobello Road have come up with the following…
“You got pink grapefruit and lime – makes it zingy; and you’ve got cassia, mace and chipotle to give a proper good earthy, peppery undertone.
“We also chucked in some agave and Lapsang Souchong tea to really dial up the smoky-sweetness.
“Sounds like mezcal you say? F*ck yeah it sounds like mezcal, we love mezcal!”
What they’ve managed to create is one of the most unique gin’s you’ll ever put in your mouth, and it also happens to be one of the tastiest too. It’s perfect in a bog-standard Gin & Tonic as well as straight (seriously).

Finally, if you want to buy a bottle to take home it’ll cost you a cool £35. They’ll label the bottle for you and look after it while you drink and eat. When you’re finished – grab the bottle and take it home.
