Rotterdam, a port city with plenty of people moving around, is home to Alice, a girl who actually hasn’t moved from Rotterdam for 7 years.
Living with her partner, Fiona, Alice’s world is about to get rocked. Just as she plucks up the courage to tell her parents she is gay, Fiona reveals that she has always wanted to identify as a man, naming herself Adrian.
The play follows her transition and how this poses the question to Alice she never thought she’d ask… is she straight?
This bittersweet comedy explores the process of figuring out who you, touching on subjects regarding gender and sexuality.
Rotterdam is at the Opera House from 13th – 15th June.
