In honour of game (and game season), the Second Floor Bar & Brasserie at Harvey Nichols have created some new dishes for their A La Carte menu which you can enjoy as part of their excellent BOTTOMLESS WINE WHEN YOU DINE deal.
The first is a dish of Confit Goose Leg with a side of celeriac spaghetti served with a dollop of their fruity and lightly-spiced Damson Ketchup.
The dish is a celebration of all food types that remain underused. The gluten-free celeriac spaghetti alternative to normal pasta is a nutty and rich option adding loads of flavour and depth to the dish.
The wintery classic game meat is the perfect way to step into these colder months while celebrating locally sourced and seasonal game.
Sourced from a small family-run business based in Failsworth, Jack Wood Butchers, who support local farms in the British countryside.
The Bottomless Prix Fixe Menu offers you the chance to upgrade either 2 courses or 3 courses with bottomless wine for just £10 extra! Cheers all round baby!
Grab 2 courses for £20 and 3 courses for £25 and add just £10 for bottomless wine. Starters include more winter warmers such as Braised Pork Stuffed Cabbage with red pepper velouté, a Red Mullet with fermented kohlrabi or Creamed Parsnip Soup.
For desserts there’s Cold Chocolate Fondant with a delicious whisky centre; Pumpkin Pie and Honey and Hay Mousse with caramelised poached pear.
