A Few Scoops, a brand new ice cream shop is set to open in the highly anticipated General Store in MediaCity and to celebrate, a pink ice cream truck will be handing out FREE scoops.
Specialising in alcohol-infused ice cream, sorbets and ice pops, A Few Scoops will be bringing their pink tuk tuk affectionately known as Jolene to the launch.
Born and bread in Manchester, A Few Scoops is the brainchild of Alanna Atkinson who wanted a way to combine her favourite tipples with her love of ice cream.
“When we started A Few Scoops, we knew we didn’t want a standard ice cream van, we wanted something that was different that made everyone whip out their phones to take a photo! We think we’ve achieved this with Jolene and we’re so excited to be at the launch of General Store MediaCity offering out 100 free scoops for customers to enjoy.” – Alanna
You’ll be able to get your hands on some free scoops of ice cream on Saturday 1st May from 12-6pm.
There are 100 scoops to go out, limited to one scoop per person.
Flavours up for grabs in the ice cream section include Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned and a vegan Pina Colada.
For sorbets, Peach Bellini and Mojito (both vegan). Plus there are non-alcoholic options include coke float ice cream and cherryade sorbet.
