Taking over Wilson’s Den every Saturday night for the foreseeable, the venue will host a new night curated by the music discovery platform and creative culture hub, KOMPND run independently by Stylus and a small team of community-focused individuals.

With the aim of bringing people together through the power of music and performance, KOMPND started out initially as a way to keep people entertained and connected through lockdown.

By interviewing artists within the city and breaking new music through its twitch channel, the collective has steadily built up a following by hosting events at Off The Square, Manchester’s South nightclub, Joshua Brooks and most recently selling out KABLE below Brickhouse Social.

KOMPND has quickly become a staple in the city for creatives, artists and music lovers alike to network, build relationships and catch a vibe at the same time.

Housed inside a unique underground basement space in Manchester’s thriving Northern Quarter, KOMPND’s new night will host an intimate weekly musical showcase every single Saturday that fuses a combination of live performance, DJs and visual concepts.

Having worked with a host of the city’s hottest prospects this past past year, including Robin Knightz, The KTNA, Musumba, Francesca, Abnormal Sleepz and Sleazy plus guest DJ sets from the current UK Redbull 3style Champion Djames, quality sits at the forefront of everything KOMPND does.

Striving daily to cultivate a unique, diverse community that shares a mutual love for the music scene, KOMPND will be a welcome addition to Northern Quarter’s burgeoning nightlife scene.

The first event kicks off this Saturday and continues on the same day weekly for the foreseeable from 11pm – 4pm.
