Completely redesigning the hotel, the space is now split into two new destination venues; The Lowry Lounge & Bar and River Restaurant both filled with individuality and flair.

Designed with soft hues, a brand new layout creates an open space that has areas sectioned off for a bit more privacy.

The Lowry Lounge & Bar has a new feature bar and plenty of sociable and comfy secluded seats. The venue will also hold a new entertainment and events programme with live performances almost every night. And we can only expect these to be amazing with names like Take That and Lady Gaga holding impromptu performances before now.

The River Restaurant, known for its amazing food and inventive flavours, is promising an exciting and intriguing menu as ever. With dishes designed by the head chef, Dave Ashton is composing a menu that features plenty of locally sourced produce – all to be enjoyed alongside the hotel’s fine wine selection.

Don’t fear, the infamous afternoon tea and Sunday lunch will remain!

Designed by Goddard Littlefair, renowned interior designers who also re-imagined The Presidential Suite earlier this year, it means that the hotel is set to be more luxurious than ever before.

You don’t have to wait until the renovation is complete, to dine or drink at The Lowry Hotel though! Of course not, they wouldn’t derive you that much!

Dine in the Grand Ballroom while the refurbishments are going on, they’re serving up all their usual menu and there are currently plenty of offers on until the end of summer! Find out more here.
