Festa Italiana is BACK for its 3rd annual outing this July with a bigger site and an even busier programme.
The festival will be taking over Cathedral Gardens from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th July with a packed daily programme including live cookery demonstrations, artisan Italian food markets and bespoke bars, all soundtracked by live Italian bands and musicians.
In just 2 years, Festa Italiana has established itself as one of Manchester’s most popular events with nearly 30,000 visitors flocking to the city centre ‘Italian oasis’ created on Cathedral Gardens in 2018.
This year the focus is home cooking and bringing together Manchester’s Italian food community, collaborating with many of the city’s favourite Italian restaurants and food heroes.
To kick of the party in style, Martini Fiero are hosting a special party on Friday 26th July and there’s 200 FREE drinks to be given out.
Martini Fiero is a new vivid red vermouth by Martini that includes a bitter-sweet orange taste. Best served over ice, mixed with tonic and a blood orange wheel, the drink proves to be the ultimate early evening refresher to kick off summer nights.
The party will be kept going by Italian DJ with a laid-back soundtrack to accompany the Italian Riviera theme.
Cocktails are served all night and the full Martini roster will be showcased including new spins on classic cocktails. Sbagliato a fizzy twist on a Negroni, Vodka Martinis and Martini Negronis. Drinks will be complemented by free aperitivo through the night.
The Festa has also pledged to bring together Manchester’s Italian food community on the biggest scale yet. The ambition is to collaborate with even more of the city’s best Italian restaurants and food heroes, as well as more Italian brands from across the UK and Italy, than ever before.
