Chocolate is great and all but who doesn’t prefer a glass of vino instead? I’ll be the first to put my hands up and say I would 100% rather be tucking into a glass of wine for most days of December than chocolate.
We’re not saying you need to have a glass before you brush your teeth (each to their own though) but what you can do is head down to Ancoats for a delicious glass of the natural and organic wine.

Described as a tingly red that is super easy to drink that pairs perfectly with hearty food often found in France like cheese, potatoes and charcuterie. Alternatively, it’s perfect with a big old lunch deal at erst. This week I’d recommend trying the pork collar served with plum and rosemary (£10) and crispy potatoes with yeast sauce on the side (£4).
