Fat Hippo are opening their first burger joint in Manchester in collaboration with the newest bowling alley and bar in the city, Lane7.

The burger joint is already hugely popular in Sheffield, Nottingham and Leeds serving up huge burgers and loaded fries.

It’s not clear exactly when the new burger joint will be open but fans of Fat Hippo are already buzzing.

If you can’t wait, Fat Hippo has just launched brand new nationwide DIY kits.

Launching from 12pm on Friday 12th February, the kits include enough grub to make either two or four of their signature Fat Hippo or vegan Oprah Sin-Free burgers from your own home. You can also add on the in-house Hillbilly Lager or Proper IPA to have the ultimate experience.

Lane7 opened in Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse in autumn last year, just before the third national lockdown forced its closure.

The late-night bowling alley is the largest independent alley of its kind in the UK that alongside classic ten pin bowling has the likes of takes on karaoke, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, mini-golf, retro arcades, photobooths, darts and go-karting.

Further details of Fat Hippo’s opening at Lane7 are yet to be confirmed. To get an idea of what’s to come see the menu in Leeds here.
