Translating as ‘conversation’ in English, GupShup hopes to be a place to bring people together over amazing food and drink in a beautiful setting. The restaurant will be serving Indian cuisine from lunch until late bringing different dining options to the table including the lighter side of Indian food as well as all the classics.
The restaurant will be located in the stunning former Natwest bank building in Hale and has had over £1.5m investment restoring the building to its former glory. The renovation has included taking the building back to brick and even replacing the entire roof.
The restaurant has also commissioned renowned interior designed Edwin Pickett, who is known for his work with Australasia and Tattu, to create a brand new space.
The backdrop and atmosphere will encourage people to come together and share the creative Indian cuisine. Subtle styles, colour tones, materials and delicate lighting will create a personable, warm and intimate space for all to enjoy.
