It’s that time of the year when Greater Manchester’s parks and outdoor spaces transform into the perfect festive evening out – and RHS Garden Bridgewater has once again joined in on the action.
The gorgeous space in Worsley, Salford brings back its Glow art trail for 2023, allowing visitors to wander around the garden paths through an immersive Christmas light display.

Much like previous years, the flower beds and foliage will be lit up with fairy lights and mirrorballs, all to a soundtrack of much-loved Manchester tunes.
There will also be plenty for the kids to enjoy too, including stunning halo light shows by Jago Juggling Arts and a chance to build your own glowing sculpture out of more than 100 ‘Twist and Shine’ building blocks.
It wouldn’t be a festive outing without a mulled wine or two, so they’ve got that covered, as well as mince pies, hot Vimto and Christmas cakes.
For a more substantial bite, The Bridgewater Cafe will be open into the evenings and serving homemade curries, jacket potatoes topped with chilli, and pies with peas and gravy.

The garden centre shop is a good spot for a selection of traditional and quirky Christmas gifts, decorations and handmade stocking fillers.
Glow at RHS Bridgewater is open from 15 November to 30 December, Wednesday to Saturday, 4.30pm to 9pm. Last entry to the garden is 8pm. Grab tickets here.
