Now, there’s plenty of options to chose from here but I’ve opted for the Lobster Gwadri Khas (£39.95). Comprised of a sensational masala lobster cooked with gentle spices from the Baluchistan province in Pakistan. Served in the shell on a platter packed full of rice and sautéed seasonal vegetables.
There’s also a kachumber salad on the side, a dish famous in Indian cuisine packed full of fresh chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, lemon juice and a hint of chilli.
This is the ultimate dish for lobster lovers who are looking for something a bit different than your usual surf and turf.
Of course, for the same price, Zouk also offers up a classic and succulent Lobster Thermador. Served exactly how it should be, in the shell with pan-fried mustard, onions, mushrooms and garlic and finished with fresh cream, grilled cheese, rice and sauteed vegetables.
Splurge
Unless you’re new here, you MUST know about the Whole Stuffed Lamb available at Zouk. This is the ultimate, the absolute epitome of a splurge. With a 48 hours notice required, Zouk offer up an entire lamb stuffed full to bursting with seasoned and jewelled rice and cumin-spiced potatoes.
The lamb feeds 15-20 people EASILY and everyone will be absolutely stuffed. Prep takes hours and hours for this juicy and spicy lamb, as well as being cooked for several hours.
The lamb is also served with one of the most delicious gravy’s I’ve ever had. Packed full of spices and big chunky onion slices, slathered all over the lamb you’re in for the best treat ever, trust me.
