New Year’s Eve is a rather more subdued affair this year, with the country on almost-lockdown, and everyone just seeming to want 2020 to end with as little fanfare as possible.
So instead of going out and getting hammered, many of us will instead be staying in with our loved ones, some good food and some fizz – and this year independent Spanish restaurant La Bandera have launched a NYE Feast for 2 to make things better.
Basque-style Cod Fillets
For just £55 for 2, you can head on over to the La Bandera website to order your feast which includes 1 glass of Cava per person, Fried Almonds, Jamon Iberico, 5 tapas to share and a Triple Chocolate Tart to finish with.
You will get their juicy Cocktail de Gambas; grilled king prawn cocktail with citric alioli and almond flakes, Pumpkin Cream with Scallops, Homemade Turkey Croquettes, Bacalao en Salsa Verde; Basque style cod fillets and their Bistec con Salsa de Championes; the flat iron steak with a mushroom sauce.
