Not to be mistaken with the South African rugby union player, Johan Meyer is in fact a small boutique wine producer, producing hand-crafted natural wines from small plots off vineyards in the south coast region of South Africa. Inspired by his travels to New Zealand, Burgundy and California, Johan established JH Meyer Signature Wines in 2011 and quickly gained notoriety for the quality of his produce and drive for unique flavours and characteristics. This Wednesday 4th September, Johan will be heading over to the wonderful Erst in Ancoats for an event that is perfect for any wine aficionados out there.
