Authentically Italian in its minimal but quality style, expect the best cuts of meat sourced from local Manchester butchers, which is cooked in a proper charcoal Josper oven. The Don Gio Roast is £16.95 or you can get 2 courses for £19.95. For the launch this weekend though Manchester’s Finest Supporters get a free dessert (link and details at the bottom of this article). What a treat, eh guys? Served every Sunday, choose from Succulent Lamb Shoulder, well-seasoned Chicken Supreme or the delicious Topside Tenderloin Beef. All served alongside thrice cooked roasties, cauliflower cheese, sauteed shredded cabbage, parsnips, imperator carrots, GIANT (yes giant) Yorkshire puddings and, wait for it, an UNLIMITED amount of Don Giovanni’s special gravy! Make sure you leave enough room for pud, because you’re in for a treat just looking at the desserts menu. There's Sticky Toffee Pudding sponge with mixed dates and raisins, topped with chopper sugar-coated walnuts. Dripping in a warm toffee sauce, this sticky toffee is the perfect remedy to any rubbish day or empty stomach. If you fancy keeping it authentically Italian, enjoy the classic Don Giovanni Tiramisu. Homemade savoiardi biscuits are soaked in delicious coffee liquor and layered with a thick and creamy mascarpone mousse. Oh and this bad boy is their signature Chocolate Fudge Cake which comes served with their own tasty vanilla ice cream. It's. So. Good.
