This June has seen legendary music maestro DJ Yoda take over the ever popular Escape to Freight Island every Thursday, with a hugely unique mix of music and cinematography with his AV SHOW.
He kicked things off with a spectacular ode to the sights and soundtracks of Tarantino – bringing together all of the audiovisual cult-classics of the visionary director, complete with mixes and mash-ups of those legendary tunes.
Next up was his Sci-Fi show, followed the week later with an electric 80’s show that took us all through the decades best tunes and visuals, from Synth-Pop to Power Ballads, through Max Headroom, Roland Rat and of course – plenty of MTV.
This week is the last Thursday in June and DJ Yoda will be presenting his HIP-HOP AV CLUB – covering everything from old school 80s classics, right through the 90s, 00s, teens and now into the roaring 20s.
He’ll be presenting two show on the night, one at 6pm and the other at 9pm, with tickets for the Platform, giving you up close, un-obstructed and immersive views of the whole show, are priced at £10 per person.
