This Sunday 3rd May, how would you like to invite some of Manchester’s top painters, illustrators, tattooists and street artists to create a masterpiece in your living room?

Art Battle Manchester has been described as the city’s most energetic art event, with talented artists having only 30 minutes to create a masterpiece in front of a live audience – while YOU decide who is crowned champion.

Creating a buzz across the city since 2013, Art Battle Manchester has delivered 17 sold-out events, never using the same venue twice. They clearly have a penchant for bringing the underground event to many of the city’s stunning buildings. Venues have included London Road Fire Station, Albert Hall, The Royal Exchange, Victoria Baths and an array of historic mills and warehouses. Their next stop is YOUR living room.

They’ve teamed up with the hugely popular United We Stream, to deliver their first-ever stay-at-home art battle. Recent events such as Hacienda, Funkademia, and Spike Island have commanded over 4.3m million streams from around the world.

Artists competing include top local street artist Qubek, Private Eye and Sunday Times cartoonist Tony Husband, Illustrator Pete Obsolete, painter Amy Coney and tattooist 3Muses.

The Soul Twins will provide the battle soundtrack while Hattie Pearson (Hits Radio) will referee and keep you abreast of developments

All the unique artwork created on the night will be auctioned with proceeds split between the artists and United We Stream

Art for the people, by the people.
