Manchester DJ Josh Baker played the pre-match session at Castlefield Bowl ahead of England’s World Cup semi-final against Argentina.

The DJ and producer took to the stage at 6.15pm, warming up the crowd before the match is shown on the venue’s big screens.

Baker arrives in Manchester following a run of dates in Ibiza, where he has been playing as part of his summer residency at the legendary Amnesia. The set is being hosted by JD Sports as part of the massive, 9000-fan Castlefield Bowl watch party.

Doors opened at 5.30pm, with England’s match against Argentina kicking off at 8pm.

The Three Lions reached the semi-final after defeating Norway 2-1 and are now one victory away from their first World Cup final since 1966.
