The last couple of years has seen Levenshulme-based artist Lisa Marie Payne host regular Life Drawing classes, complete with a soundtrack of “jazzy jazz”, interlude snackage and BYOB goodness.
‘Life Drawing with House of Payne‘ has proven to be so popular that Lisa has decided to add more classes to her offering, grabbing a few reams of paper, pencils and a naked person and dragging them all into the city centre.
Tuesday 5th October sees her host an event at Lloyd House on Albert Square, before heading over to Wellington Studios in Ancoats on Wednesday 13th October for even more brushes and boobs, pencils and pecks, watercolours and willies.
I’m by no means an artist, but I’ve heard that nothing beats being able to capture an actual human, and these relaxed classes are the perfect opportunity to try your hand at a bit of drawing and sketching, as well as meeting some like-minded people over a love of art, food and booze.
