A Taste of Altrincham is set to return for 10 days of food, drink and celebration from Friday 27 February to Sunday 8 March, promising a packed programme of events that shine a spotlight on the town’s thriving independent food and drink scene.

Organised by Altrincham BID and backed by headline sponsor Myerson Solicitors with support from UK Shared Prosperity Fund funding, the festival builds on the success of last year, and will bring together local chefs, producers and businesses with residents and visitors alike.

Activities will include the return of Altrincham’s Ultimate Pudding Competition, live cooking demonstrations and workshops, children’s cooking sessions, as well as whiskey, wine and coffee tastings.

Festival-goers can also book afternoon teas and more intimate supper clubs as part of the programme.

Mandy White, Director of Altrincham BID, said: “A Taste of Altrincham is a true celebration of the town’s food and drink scene and the brilliant people behind it.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the event back for 2026 with an even more exciting programme that encourages people to explore, learn and enjoy everything Altrincham has to offer. From families and first-time visitors to seasoned food lovers, there really is something for everyone.”

Further details and the full programme will be released soon.
