This Saturday marks World Gin Day, a global celebration of all things gin from the classic tonic combination, to gin-based cocktails, desserts, candles and pretty much everything in between.
There’ll be a fair few bars across the city partaking in the booze-based commemorations, with Spinningfields’ Firefly being one of them, as the bar is offering 2-4-1 on all gin tipples featured on its new Botanica cocktail menu from 5pm – 7pm on Friday 10th June. A day early, but why wait?!
The perfect destination for after work drinks, Firefly’s new gin-based menu is full of wonderfully refreshing cocktails that were made to be enjoyed on a sunny Friday afternoon after a long week at work.
First up on the Botanica menu is the Beijing Peach, made with Tanqueray 10, lemon juice, peach and jasmine soda – a sublime summer beverage. Then you can choose from the Sugar & Spice, which features Tanqueray 10, lime juice, pink peppercorn, honey and soda or the Mowgli – a refreshing tipple containing Tanqueray 10 mixed with pineapple and lime juice and cucumber tonic.
There’s also a Juicy Fruit for those with a sweeter tooth, consisting of watermelon syrup and cucumber tonic and an alcohol free Tanqueray 0.0 G&T that’s mixed with Tanqueray 0%, tonic water and a grapefruit wedge. To claim the 2-4-1 deal you must order 2 of the same cocktail.
Located at the end of Bridge Street, Firefly is a place for laid-back, social dining throughout the day that transitions into a soundtrack of live DJs and the rattle of cocktail shakers by night.
The bar also serves a diverse food menu featuring global flavours, small plates and a weekly bottomless sushi supperclub – making it a great dining destination at any time of day.
