The new breakfast menu starts with a selection of ‘liveners’ for those wanting to begin their morning in true Albert’s Schloss fashion, with a bang. You’ll find a Bloody Mary (£8), Espresso Martini (£8), Garibaldi (£5), Screwdriver (£5) and bottle of Prosecco (£20). Freshly Squeezed Juices are also available.

There’s a range of hearty breakfast bagels starting from £7.50 including the Schloss Poppy Seed Bagel with soft chive omelette, Haus chilli jam, gouda, coriander and pink pickled onions, The Royale with Yorkshire streaky bacon and round bratwurst and The Royale Garten with a slow roasted portobello mushroom and smashed avocado.

Other options on the menu delivering their Bavarian twist on classics are the Cook Haus Breakfast (£12) with a Catherine wheel sausage, Yorkshire streaky bacon, Burford brown egg, roasted portobello mushroom, baked beans and hash brown. The veggie version (also £12) has a Moving Mountains sausage (the meatiest veggie sausage we’ve tried), smashed avocado, Burford brown egg, roasted portobello mushroom, baked beans, hash brown, roast tomato and Pain de Mie toast. There’s also Goats Cheese and Courgette Fritters with Burford brown eggs, Frankfurt sauce + spicy devilled tomatoes (£9), Turkish Eggs (£8) and daily changing Haus-baked Pastries for £4.

For those with a sweeter tooth, diners can opt for the Pancake Haus offering – plates of fluffy Haus pancakes with maple bacon + Burford brown egg or vanilla berries and cream, both served with maple syrup for £9 each.

Albert’s Schloss’ new breakfast menu is available every day of the week: 10am – 1pm Monday – Thursday  and 9am – 1pm from Friday – Sunday.
