Bigger and frostier than ever, the Coors Light Ice Bar is back in the city and now open for business! The cool Coors Light Ice Bar successfully launched last night to an exclusive crowd in Bierkeller Entertainment Complex.
VIP guests enjoyed a chilled night starting with a sparkling champagne reception and an array of delicious canapes to indulge in before they headed into the famous Coors Light Ice Bar.
Once inside, the crowd lined up at the bar to receive their free refreshing Coors Light beer, crisp house wine or chilled spirit and mixer and then proceeded to enjoy the launch. There was a buzz in the air as guests took pictures and marvelled at the Ice Bar, feeling like they had stepped out of Bierkeller Entertainment Complex and into the Arctic.
One of the guests was in awe after never stepping foot inside an Ice Bar before.
“The setup is fantastic, it’s so cool. It didn’t even feel like I was in Manchester anymore. I’ll definitely be coming back throughout summer. It’ll be great once the weather picks up and you can come down to Bierkeller – have a few drinks and then cool off and head back out for the night.”
The Coors Light Ice Bar will be calling Manchester Bierkeller Entertainment Complex home until the end of August and will be opening their doors to the public this Friday the 19th ensuring that, every weekend from Friday to Sunday, Manchester is keeping things cool.
A stunning polar bear ice sculpture greeted excited guests, inviting them in for selfies. The bar staff offer a mini curling experience to win a shot of ice cold jaegermeister from the shot luge – if the stone lands in the red bullseye. Mini curling lets each player have two goes with two of the four stones and the guests had to make them glide along the ice and into the bullseye.
Hidden inside sections of the wall are a variety of snow-themed objects, including snowshoes, a bunch of red roses and a woolly mammoth. Funny anecdotes from the likes of Brad Pitt were also spotted in the walls of the crowded Ice Bar.
Proving to be massively popular in a few short hours, guests left the Ice Bar in wonder and merry with a wristband to take with them.
