This month, Kosmonaut launched ‘Crate Diggers of the World Unite’, the bar’s new series of vinyl-only Thursday nights curated by music coordinator, Pasta Paul.
Celebrating vinyl, music in its purest form, ‘Crate Diggers of the World Unite’ brings together DJs, music lovers and a LOT of vinyl. Pasta Paul has handpicked the varied programme of Thursday nights, and there’s much more to come.
Thursdays are to be a journey through the personal music collection of some of the Northern Quarter’s favourite people featuring nights from Piccadilly Records, Oi-Polloi, Beat Boutique and of course Pasta Paul and friends at his Post-Office Pay Day Ping Pong Party.

Brand new at Kosmonaut, the Piccadilly Records gang will be showcasing their cherry-picked favourites from their award winning record store. Stalwarts of the music industry, they continue to prove their love for what they do. Playing a variety of funk, disco, cosmic, folk and electro back to back all night. Featuring Kickin’ Pigeon, Dave Walker and Patrick Ryder.

Pasta Paul’s Post Office Pay Day Pumpkin Ping Pong Party

Pasta Paul’s legendary Post-office parties have been running for the past year, persuading his DJ friends to play vinyl-only records for a one hour slot. Previous line-ups have included Mark Webster, Krysko (WHP) and Will Tramp. Playing alongside Pasta Paul for this special Halloween line-up is Chris Massey, Elizabeth Alker, Aldo Wan Kenobi and Cosmic Baggy among many more.
