Eat Well MCR to host Charity DJ Battle between Manchester’s Bar & Restaurant Owners

In a fairly unique-but-intriguing night of fundraising, an array of Manchester’s bar and restaurant owners are set to go head-to-head in a night of DJ battles. Hosted at Tariff & Dale on Wednesday 17th November, some of the city’s most recognised food and drink figures will be involved, in an evening that will raise money for the incredibly worthy cause of Eat Well MCR. Eat Well MCR is a collective of chefs, hospitality professionals and volunteers helping to provide chef-made meals to people side-lined by poverty across Greater Manchester. The organisation has already prepared and delivered more than 50,000 meals to those in challenging circumstances around the city, since launching in April 2020. As part of their fundraising efforts, Eat Well have also been asking restaurants to add a £2 option titled ‘Meals for Manchester’ to their menus. Customers can add this ghost item to their final bill, which will go directly to the initiative and cover the cost of one of these vital meals.
