If you ever found yourself in Clubhouse in Hatch you'll know that it was a pretty mad place - packed full of oddities and a seemingly never-ending list of weird and wonderful cocktails that got you hammered. Fast. This week saw them re-open after lockdown but in a lovely new location - Leftbank in Spinningfields - bringing their own blend of mayhem and late-night partying to this corner of the city centre. They've opened up with a brand-new terrace, serving up a range of cocktails that will certainly put a smile on your face and a spring in your step, including their Espresso Creme (£8) with bourbon, espresso liqueur, coffee, custard syrup and a custard cream, and their Unicorns N Stuff (£8) with pink gin, strawberry liqueur, marshmallow syrup, sour mix and topped with a big flump. Top of the list should be their unique Tropical Margarita (£9) with tequila, melon liqueur, tropical juice, passionfruit puree and Haribo Tangfastics, or just go all out and have a Tiki Time (£10) which comes with all the rums and Jagermeister! There's also an impressive range of shots available, including the madness that is the 'Kickstart My Heart' which is a lethal mix of honey tequila, coconut tequila and a few hearty glugs of Lou's Hot Sauce.
