Roc & Rye present: Latte Art Smackdown

When it comes to the design on top of a fluffy hot drink, I've seen loads during my time searching through the internet.

I’ve seen lotus flowers, Simpsons characters and even some rather fetching erotic material, although why someone would want that as they sit down for a natter with their mum is beyond me.

It’s clearly an impressive skill though and so craft coffee specialists Roc & Rye are proud to present their very first Latte Art competition. In collaboration with Origin Coffee Roasters, the competition will see the best and brightest baristas compete to be the champ – like Rocky in Rocky 4 but with coffee and foam instead of blocks of ice. And beards.

If you think of yourself as a contender then this should be right up your street. Just simply “roc” up to the venue, bring your mates and get ready to show off your talents in front of an intimate live audience.

The competition is limited to 12 places for entry and it will be £4 a ticket – with the winner taking the pot. It’s free entry for anyone who wants to come down and watch. There’ll be some nice special offers on the night for everyone to enjoy too.

Roc & Rye Latte Art Smackdown
