Beatnikz Republic are a microbrewery based in the Green Quarter and have been operating since early 2017.

You might have seen their colourful cans knocking about the city’s bars and pubs such as the West Coast Pale Ale Beach Bum and the Grapefruit Wheat Ale Generation Dreamer.

Their concept is to take inspiration from a single ingredient, a geographical location or even just a day at the beach – developing a flavour profile in line with the beer’s character.

Fans of the beers can now jump for joy with the announcement of the opening of their very first tap room this weekend.

Located within Dale House on Dale Street in the NQ, Beatnikz will house 14 kegs and 4 cask lines with a combination of their own beers and guest beers.

They’ll also stock the usual range of spirits (especially gin and bourbon), wines, ciders and cocktails, as well as offering a few bar snacks along the way.

The open date is this Saturday (Saturday 27th October) and they have an open invite- so get yourselves down there!

They will have also the beers you could possibly dream of as well as food by street-food megastars Schmear with an offering of fantastic bagels and a DJ blasting out d-school indie, dance and rock vibes from noon to midnight.

See you down there!
