A year is a LONG time – although sometimes, it feels like 2021 has just flown by.
2021 is very special for many of us though simply down to the fact that we’ve been able to actually do things, go on holiday, see our families and even leave the house – 2020 was a terrible year and so this year has been amazing!
As this year comes to an end, it’s a time when Marble Beers pull out all of their ‘Decadence Beers’ – special ‘vintage’ brews that have been aging for months – meaning they’re super-strong, and super-tasty.
Kicking things off on Friday 19th November at 7pm will be their Cheese Pairing Launch event, where Marble’s Head of Production Joe and Eric Charriaux from Fromage to Age Artisan Cheese will take you on a journey of delicious beer and cheese pairings.
Then on Saturday 20th November they’ll be having a massive ‘un-corking’ party over at their Brewery near Salford Quays – to finally get the casks open and give people the chance to try their five new Decadence Beers.
There’s an Imperial Stout (10.5%), Ruby Port BA (10.5%), Barley Wine (12.4%) and a Barley Wine Amontillado BA (12.4%) to try, as well as their OLD ALE (12.5%) which has been aged for a year in sherry casks and then bottle conditioned for 45 weeks!
The Decadence Imperial Stout and Ruby Port BA are both luxuriously smooth, with aromas of fine dark chocolate and freshly ground coffee – they’ve just ALL got to be tried!
The Decadence Day celebrations will also include live music from 6pm, as well as food from The Curry Den – a family run business who will not disappoint with their recipes lovingly passed down through generations, capturing home cooked secrets and showcasing a real taste of India and vibrant Pakistani culture.
